Elijah Friedeman, the Millennial Perspective

I'm not a big fan of Orrin Hatch, especially after his song about Ted Kennedy. But Hatch was right on when he made this statement.

"If that is held constitutional for them to be able to tell us we have to purchase health insurance, then there is literally nothing that the federal government can't force us to do."

This administration acts like they want to provoke a second c1vil war. I fear that is where all their force and coercion will lead us...with no other option but to win our liberties back in the same way our founders established them.

If they pass this bill I think We the People should sue them for acting against the Constitution and denying us our life and liberty. I have known all along it is unconstitutional.

Take over of banks, take over of the automobile interestes, requiring the public to purchase an identified insurance program, dictating the salaries of CEOs, WHERE will the Administration stop? What will the average American do? Congress, if you thought the Tea Parties were objectional, ramming an unwanted health program downing the throat of the American people will create more than you expect. There has been no willingness to present a bill that can be read and understood by even well educated individuals. The jargon in this bill (which does fund Abortion by requiring that plans INCLUDE funding for abortion) is so convoluted it doesn't even make sense. . .

So, how many of us are going to be in a concentration camp or prison because we refuse to buy their health plan?

Under Hatch's argument, then the federal government cannot prohibit/criminalize the purchase of drugs or child pornography. If you want to apply the commerce clause, you better do it consistently. How can the commerce clause prevent you from purchasing something, but cannot make you buy something. Oh, medical malpractice reform is also unconstitutional.
