The new Navy assault ship, the U.S.S. New York, arrived in New York today to be commissioned.  Why is this newsworthy?  Because the ship contains about 7.5 tons of steel from the World Trade Center.

First responders and families of 9/11/victims gathered this morning at a waterfront viewing area where they could see the crew standing at attention along the decks and watch the ship arrive in the harbor with a 21-gun salute.

"It's a transformation ... from something really twisted and ugly," said Rosaleen Tallon, who lost her firefighter brother, Sean, on 9/11. "I'm proud that our military is using that steel."

JoAnn Atlas, of Howells, N.Y., who lost her husband, fire Lt. Gregg Atlas, draped a flag-themed banner along the fence. The names of emergency workers who died were written on the red stripes.

"We have to remember. It's a way to honor them," she said.

You may watch of newsclip of the ship's arrival below.

Shame. Not only do they remove the steel before it can be tested for explosives and examined by engineers, but they use a warship to try to dispel our misgivings. I beg every sailor to ever serve on this ship to vow to uncover the truth of 9-11 and fight those traitors as hard as any other national enemy.

The Phoenix has risen. This is a tribute to all who died Sept. 11. This is a tribute to all of the sailors who serve on the NYC. This is a reminder that we got hit hard and we did not stay down. This is a reminder to the enemy we will not submit. May GOD protect and bless this ship and all who serve on her.

This is a GREAT TRIBUTE to all the folks who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. And we trust that it will be a GREAT DETERMINING FACTOR in stopping such an event again. The Trailblazer
