PepsiCo forms Chicago Gay Pride organization

August 19, 2009

According to PepsiCo representative Philene Frazar, PepsiCo is a founding member in establishing a homosexual activist group in Chicago.

Frazar, in a presentation during a 2009 homosexual advocacy conference, announced PepsiCo was instrumental in forming Chicago's "Citywide Pride" (see presentation slide here). The Citywide Pride website says it "strives to educate and empower the LGBT workforce and their allies."

Citywide Pride events listed for 2009 include:

• Seminar on how gays can successfully adopt children
• Same-sex marriage tutorials
• "Recruitment and engagement" techniques training
• "Family Pride" days (this one particularly hosted by PepsiCo)

In addition, Frazer noted that PepsiCo regularly recruits and invites employees from smaller companies to attend a variety of gay pride parades with them, saying:

"It really is a true celebration of the entire community when PepsiCo steps out to be part of a parade. In most of these cities, we are giving out a sampling of all our product lines, which are as diverse as Tropicana juice, all the way to Frito-Lay chips. We also hand out cups and banners and whistles. It's really a true corporate presence once we hit the parade route."

Take Action!

• Sign the Boycott PepsiCo Pledge. After signing the pledge, please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and tell the company you will boycott its products until it stops promoting the homosexual agenda. If you will stay on the line, a live representative will take your call.

 • Call the PepsiCo bottler nearest you and ask it to use its influence in stopping the company's support for the homosexual agenda.

Pepsi's products include Pepsi soft drinks, Frito-Lay chips and snacks (800-352-4477), Quaker Oats (800-367-6287), Tropicana (800-237-7799) and Gatorade (800-884-2867).

Print the new Boycott PepsiCo Pledge and distribute, including giving a copy to the manager of the grocery store where you shop.

• Forward this e-mail to your friends and family so they will know about PepsiCo's support of the homosexual agenda. Millions of people are not aware of Pepsi's support of homosexual organizations.

I love that none of the comments I have posted have been published on here when I rate them a one star.

Just signed the pledge, and posted to my facebook page. I called the # listed above, and the man I spoke with denied Pepsi supporting gay marriages. As I read some of this info to him, he said abruptly, give me your zip code, I will make note of your call, and practically hung up on me.....

I appreciate being able to learn about such actions as Pepsi Co. is taking so that I can personally take a stand against such anti-Christian things.

We totally agree.. we will no longer purchase Pepsi. As far as other issues, we as Christians need to take a stand on each and every issue. If we band together we can win the war.

IF CHRISTIANS WOULD "SACRIFICE" GIVE UP AND BOYCOTT THESE PEPSI PRODUCTS IT WOULD BE VERY EFFECTIVE AS IT WAS WITH THE DISNEY BOYCOTT.

The impending demi-graphic fall of all European cultures (about 50 years or -) is at the hands of those who fall for this same gay agenda-led impulse: followed now by Pepsico. Our family will never buy another Pepsico product and will join with millions of others to enlarge said efforts everywhere in America.

Yikes! At this rate, by next year we will be Boycotting Everything. Seriously folks, there are Way more important issues out there, like say, affordable health care. WWJD?

Our family of 8 used to use most of Pepsi's products. We contacted them and asked that they stop pushing the homosexual agenda, and they pretty much said we don't count. So, we will no longer buy their products. There are plenty of other brands. We'll stick to our convictions, thank you!

I will not buy any of these products.

Is this really something that we as Christians need to focus on? Personally, I think it is ridiculous, and will NOT be participating in any Baoycotts of Pepsi. I will continue to buy it for my family, and my wife and I will continue to hold our many shares of stock in Pepsico, as well as YUM.

Golden Flake Chips, Coca Cola, Nokia, Bill Shatner's better too, and The Marriot is much nicer!

Please post these sponsors to your aFacebook and Myspace accounts so the moral people in this Great Country can boycott them....

Lets challenge the real threat to marriage. DIVORCE! More than 50% of marriages as defined in the Bible are ending in DIVORCE. Going after a minority group is not the answer. Take a long look in the mirror. Are you really Pro-family when divorce is an option?
8/24/2009 8:16:05 AM
Here are the sponsors for the Chicago Gay event: Bank of America - move your money, Kraft - don't eat their cheese and drink Maxwell House coffee, Motorola - throw away your cell phones, Hyatt - don't stay at their hotels, Orbitz - switch to Travelocity, and many others! Boycott! Boycott all!

Progressives, liberals or whatever you want to call them are trying to change the definition of marriage and family. God created marriage and defines it in Genesis. The traditional family is what holds the fabric of our society together.

It's not about horrible people. It's about the destruction of the family and that Christians are not free to voice their beliefs without being labeled as haters or Bible thumping idiots. We are all sinners and all need a Savior. It's whether you are ready or not to admit it.
8/21/2009 1:40:03 PM
Private companies are free to spend THEIR money as they like. If you don't like it, don't buy Pepsi.
8/20/2009 12:18:37 AM
Does anyone out there ever read a science book, or, for that matter, the New Testament?

I hope PepsiCo changes their ways soon.
