Amy from Mississippi  nominated Kim- this family will receive the $1,000 gift-

Kim is one of the most faithful Christian women I have ever met. About six months ago, her husband died suddenly from asthma exacerbation at 29 years old with no life insurance. Since then, she and her 4 year old daughter have lived in campers and other temporary rentals. She has most recently been able to secure a house to rent but has no furniture. I have donated a mattress after the family slept on a pallet for over a week. She has had a terrible time financially since her husband’s death since he was the primary breadwinner. Through all of this, her faith has never wavered. Though she has not had money to buy the basic necessities, she has continued to give to the church from the small social security check that she receives. This money would allow her to buy things that her and her daughter need such as food and clothing. It would be put to great use.
